It was the third and the last phase of the contest, attended by the group of judges and the Minister of Science and Economy, Hartmut Möllring. Over €26000 were allocated to the award-winning start-ups and young entrepreneurs. In total 36 concepts were submitted in four categories: “science and technology”, “creative”, “service” and “small (est) start ups”.
Hermann Hetzer, the founder of Vireo.de, had also handed in his new project “Mailbox Germany”. After successful completion of the first two phases, the panel was covinced to award this project with €2000 and the second place in category “Services”. “Mailbox Germany” offers a German delivery address for foreign online shoppers, consolidation and forwarding service of packages, as well as an online management of the letters, journals and packets.
