Imagine this: A buyer from the United Kingdom arrives in Berlin. There, he rents a Slowenian car to drive to his destination so he can get his delivery. Then he wants a handler for his goods and hires a German logistics expert. His delivery is then loaded onto a truck and a Polish driver will get it through Europe to its destination: England.
Who is this man that made this journey? His name is not James Bond.
Looking for quality material so he can build his home
Stephen Shaw is tired of his native Britisch construction companies. Windows and construction materials are very pricy in the United Kingdom. They are also of a bad quality. Germany, he says, has better materials and for a reasonable price, too.
In England, it is normal to buy houses or build them (in Germany, we rent flats way more often). Stephen told us that British companies build pre-fabricated houses from cheap materials but at the same time bill twice the price. He is unsatisfied with that. We can sympathize with that: Who in his right mind want to pay double the price for half the quality?
So one day Stephen decided to break this cycle. German craftmanship is well-known and the products are often more environment-friendly and sustainable as compared with other countries. So Stephen contacted a window manufacturers and got in touch with us at Mailbox Germany. He wanted to buy windows for his new home. The manufacturer made and cut the windows to his specifications and then they were sent to us. We prepared them for delivery, let Stephen get a final look and approval, and sent them on their way to England.
As it turned out, you can get twice the quality for half the price (even with shipping!) when you buy in Germany compared to England.

Stephen will use the windows for his home but he plans ahead: Maybe he can make a business from cooperating with German producers and use their engineering genius for the British market. Although there is some debate about German products right now, many still believe as strong as ever in products made in Germany.
